30 Day Salad Challenge

As a SuperFitMan it is important to be active in your everyday life.

Fitness shouldn’t be everything but it should be something that you do effortlessly, like second nature.

Sometimes you fall off and lose focus on your progress but it should never be a downward spiral of no return.

There are things you can do that will get you get back on track to reach your fitness goals and overall well being. Certain changes you can apply that will make your mind and body feel better.

Try The Challenge

Now it only takes a couple of weeks to see and feel a change in yourself.

Even a few days you will notice a difference in the way you feel.

If you create a positive habit it will catapult the results you want.

Eating Healthy

What you eat is so important in the way you feel and look.

If you eat garbage you will look like garbage.

If you cut out bad food from your lifestyle… trust me! You will not miss the bad food after a while.

If you do miss the “bad foods” then you can have them in moderation.

I love pizza and I eat it often but I still stay in line with my fitness goals. Cheeseburgers and fries are great too but eating this for lunch everyday will not be a good move unless you watch your calorie intake for that day.

Although, it is not good for your body and the way you feel.

You will feel like trash even though your calories are in line.

Like I said you can eat what you want but in moderation.

The Big Salad

30-day-salad-challenge

Now for 30 days I want you to eat one salad a day for either lunch or dinner.

This salad can have anything you want in it that you consider healthy.

Vegetables and fruits are great. Alkaline foods that will do your body good.

Also in your big salad you want to add a protein.

I have grilled chicken in my salad, Skirt steak, tuna, or salmon are great too. As long as you get your protein in your big salad!

Oil and vinegar is what I would use for the dressing. If you want to get a calorie free non fat dressing that would work but don’t over do it.

Drowning your salad with dressing is never good and it can turn your healthy salad into a semi healthy no good mess.

The only person you are fooling is yourself when you overdo the dressing on your salad.

When I have enough items in my salad sometimes I don’t even add dressing.

The Challenge

30-day-salad-challenge

Now for 30 days you eat one salad a day no matter what your goals are.

If you want to lose fat or build muscle it will benefit you either way( you should always be wanting to do both at the same time).

For the goals you want you will choose what your other meal or meals will be but you will have your salad everyday.

For instance…

If you want to build muscle mass I would add more carbs to your other meals in the day.

Do this and watch the change in how you feel and look.

What Not To Put In Your Salad

30-day-salad-challenge

Skip the croutons or minimize them if added

No high fat sugar filled dressings

Nothing that is considered unhealthy like bacon (but then again used in moderation is fine)

My Salad Ingredients

I love Greek salads with grilled chicken. I also like a lot of stuff in my salad. Here are some ingredients I would add in the big salad.

Lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, tomatoes, chick peas, feta cheese, olives, peppers, onions grill chicken. Goat cheese, artichoke hearts, Oil and vinegar.

That’s to name a few veggies I put in my salad.

At a lot of places I would just order a salad of my choice with grilled chicken.

Also get the dressing on the side so I can have that control.

Now do this for 30 days straight and who knows… You may want to carry it on for longer.

You will feel different and have more energy.

Adding a salad to your life will help you in being a SuperFitMan.
